Shuhari Karate Kematen shines with 49 medals at the MasterCup!
The Shuhari Karate Association from Kematen has once again demonstrated its class at this year's Mastercup in Innsbruck. At this important tournament, which is considered a friendly competition between Tyrol and Vorarlberg, 31 athletes of all ages and belt degrees from 8 to 40 years started. The association presented an impressive variety of talents and services.
The participants contributed to the Shuhari karate club achieved a total of 49 medals, including 16 gold, 18 silver and 15 bronze medals. This secured first place in the club rating for the association, clearly in front of the other competitors: Rum did not come close to the performance of the kemater with eight medals and Innsbruck with seven medals.

The performance of the youngest karateka was particularly gratifying. The 9-year-old Lorenz Anker in the category of yellow belts for 8 to 11-year-olds was able to achieve impressive triple success by winning gold medals in all three disciplines-Kata, Kumite and TeamKata. This outstanding performance shows the potential in the young athletes.
Another highlight was the achievements of eight -year -old Finja Anich from Oberperfuss. She also did not be intimidated and won two gold medals and a silver medal in her age group. Their successes underline that age is not an obstacle to top performance in karate.
