Tire disaster on A12: three injured after horror accident!

Völs, Österreich - on April 4, 2025, around 1:15 p.m., a serious accident occurred on the A12 in the municipal area of Völs, Innsbruck district. A 31-year-old Italian was traveling east with a car and a loaded car trailer. For an unknown cause, a tire of the trailer loosened and was thrown onto the opposite lane. There was a frontal collision with a truck, the driver of which was luckily unharmed. However, this accident led to the tire being thrown back onto the original roadway and a taxi hit five inmates.

Even his 27-year-old passenger could not be saved despite all the efforts and died on Saturday afternoon in the Innsbruck State Hospital. Fortunately, a two -year -old child of the two was unharmed and was also in the vehicle during the incident. The 28-year-old passenger was caught in the wreck and had to be freed from the Kufstein volunteer fire brigade. The 65-year-old opponent was not injured, but the incident required the blocking of a lane of the A12 for about 90 minutes.
