Open day: Insights into social care training in Innsbruck
The Innsbruck School for Social Care Professions opens its doors on November 30th and offers everyone interested the chance to get to know the diverse training offerings. The open day will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Maximilianstrasse 41 and promises an exciting program to discover the various disciplines.
Social workers aim to support people in different situations. This can happen in areas such as caring for the elderly, accompanying people with disabilities or family work. In order to pursue these important professions, prospective skilled workers receive comprehensive training at schools such as SOB Tirol, which has existed since 1946. State Councilor Ewa Pawlata describes the importance of this institution as essential in an increasingly complex society.
A look into the specialist areas
The day begins with a short introduction by State Councilor Pawlata and the presentation of the different disciplines. Participants can experience the training content themselves at various stations and immerse themselves directly in practice. This is done in a playful way by collecting stamps at the stations - a small reward in the form of a free drink awaits those who complete the stamp books.
