One of the best tobogganing facilities can be found at the Gangger Köpfl in Oberperfuss, where the longest toboggan run tirol extends. With a whopping 8.1 kilometers in length, this route is a real experience for tobogganing enthusiasts. The railway is divided into three sections: the entry begins at the Stiglreith station with 4.7 kilometers, followed by 6.7 kilometers from the Sulzstich station and finally ends with the entire length of 8.1 kilometers from the Rosskogelhütte to the valley. It will be particularly exciting for night trips that take place every Tuesday and Friday between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. and ensure an atmospheric atmosphere.
The challenge in Kühtai
The second noteworthy train is located in Kühtai, which is also considered the highest toboggan run in Tyrol. At over 2,000 meters above sea level, the 1.4 kilometer route leads over 14 hairpin bends to the valley. The starting point is located at the parking lot at the valley station of the Drei-Seen-Bahn, from where you get to the Graf-Ferdinand-Haus in a 45-minute hike. After a little rest, the sled go down the slope. A very special attraction is the nightly lighting of the toboggan run until 10:30 p.m., which makes the experience even more exciting.
