Forward -looking living in Passail: handed over sustainable rental apartments

In Passail, a new chapter was opened in the living space design. On October 15, 2024, the ceremonial handover of ten country -funded rental apartments took place, which were realized by the ÖWG Wohnbau. This project relies on sustainability and modern construction methods that meet both ecological requirements and ensure a high quality of life.

The new apartments are located in three two -storey buildings on the ice path, which were built in record time of just 14 months. Two of these buildings are made of sustainable wooden bar construction, while the third was realized in solid construction. These environmentally friendly constructions are equipped with modern photovoltaic systems and benefit from a connection to the local district heating network, which improves energy efficiency.

Modern living concepts for all needs

The rental apartments offer a variety of sizes and distributions: from cozy two-room apartments to spacious four-room units that are between 55 and 89 square meters. Some of the units are designed as a maisonette, which promises additional space and comfort. Each apartment comes with its own balcony or terrace, equipped with garden areas that offer residents the opportunity to enjoy nature in the immediate vicinity.

A special enrichment is the equipment of the apartments, which includes fitted kitchens with modern electrical appliances and additional storage space in the form of basement compartments. There are also covered parking spaces for visitors who round off the overall offer and ensure additional convenience.

"With the handover of this project we are making a sign of sustainable and high -quality living in Passail. Due to their central location and environmentally friendly design, not only a home, but also quality of life," explained Hans Schaffer, board director of the ÖWG Wohnbau, during the event.

The location of the residential project is particularly advantageous because it is near the town center. As a result, residents have simple access to schools, supermarkets and other important facilities. In addition, the area around the Schöckl and the Almenland region offers numerous opportunities for leisure activities such as hiking and cycling.

The completion of these ten new apartments is another step in the impressive record of the ÖWG Wohnbau, which has built a total of 117 apartments in Passail since 1980. Interested tenants have the opportunity to rent a three- or four-room apartment in this future-oriented residential project.

The enthusiasm for the new living space is also evident in demand. People are excited to see what other innovative projects will follow in the region, especially with regard to the sustainability goals of our time.
