From Gleisdorf to Stattegg: An unforgettable wedding celebration
Married couples in the Weiz region often celebrate special moments, and that was also the case for Birgit Hagendorfer and Thomas Eichinger from Urscha. They met in 2012 while having fun partying and dancing together in Gleisdorf. Now, after a few years together, the two tied the knot on September 6th and now bear the title of married couple.
On their wedding day, the weather was initially a challenge. It rained in the morning, which meant that the wedding ceremony had to be decorated and prepared on the upper floor of the chosen venue, the Lässerhof in Stattegg. Luckily the sun came out at midday so the ceremony could take place outdoors, surrounded by family and friends. The civil wedding took place here with a ring blessing.
Shared hobbies and honeymoon
Birgit and Thomas share a great passion: grilling. They spend a lot of time in the “Grill Fellas” barbecue club, where they can further develop their grilling skills and try out new recipes. This shared hobby activity not only brings the two together, but also promotes community with other barbecue enthusiasts.
After their wedding, they went on their honeymoon to the beautiful island of Cyprus. There they were able to enjoy the first days of their marriage in a relaxed atmosphere and explore the backdrop of the Mediterranean island.
