Ines Kahrer: Vice State Champion and Hope Beaster for the World Cup in Iceland
At the Austrian State Championships in Graz on October 20, Ines Kahrer once again showed that she is one of the best power trifles in the country. With remarkable commitment and a strong performance, she secured victory in the weight class up to 69 kg (Equiped) and won the Vice-State Championship title. These successes are the reward for years of hard work and passion that she has invested in this sport.
Ines was satisfied after the competition, although some attempts did not bring the desired success. "It wasn't a perfect competition," she said honestly. With the squat and the bench press, she only managed to pass one of three attempts. On the other hand, she was more successful in the cross -lifting and was able to validate two of three attempts. In total, she brought 542.5 kg to the wage, only 7.5 kg less than her personal best.
strong despite challenges
In view of her 1.5-year competition break and painful back injury, your result is particularly impressive. Only 0.6 points were missing from the state championship title, but the vice -state championship title and the victory in their weight class can be viewed as great success.
Here are the details of your services at the championships (equiped):
• Kniebesge: 215 kg invalid, 230 kg invalid
• Bank press: 145 kg valid, 145 kg twice
• Kreuzlichen: 170 kg valid, 182.5 kg invalid, valid
• Total result: 2nd place in the overall ranking and 1st place in the weight class.
With a view to the upcoming World Cup, which takes place in Iceland on November 14, Ines Kahrer would like to further increase her achievements and realize her goals. The entire ASKÖ team is behind her and will actively support her on her way to the World Cup.
Ines is determined to call up its best performance at the World Cup and shows that she is ready to address the next challenges. "I'm already looking forward to Iceland and I'm looking forward to the competition," says Ines. In the coming weeks she will intensify her training to prepare optimally.
