Ewald Pfleger, born on May 6, 1955 in Ollersdorf in Burgenland, is not only known as a musician from Opus, but also as a music producer. He discovered his passion for music at an early age and founded his first band “Smiling” when he was just 13 years old. He studied geography and history at the University of Vienna before co-founding the band Opus, which achieved international fame thanks to “Live Is Life”. In addition to his work with Opus, he realized numerous other musical projects and produced hits such as “Motorboot”, which stormed the charts in 1984.
