E-bike thieves caught in Wildon: police on track thanks to GPS

On Monday morning, October 2nd, 2024, two Moldova men were arrested in Wildon, in the Leibnitz district, who are suspected of having stolen several expensive e-bikes. The two 23-year-olds were taken to the Graz-Jakomini judicial facility after being caught by the police.

The events took their run on Monday night, around three in the morning. An e-bike owner had localized his stolen bike using a GPS tracker. He informed the police that the signal of his e-bike in Wildon was collected and that the castle of the bicycle had been opened.
