Organizer Herbert Sommer announced a number of highlights for this evening: "We expect over ten guest groups, including our local favorites, the Infernum devil," he said enthusiastically. The contemplative side of the Krampus run is represented by the Nikolaus, which will hand over a small packer to each child. This packer contains delicacies such as dough cramps, mandarins and other sweets that will inspire the little ones. "It is important that the Krampus run runs child -friendly and non -violent. Santa Claus ensures that the children feel joy with its gifts," adds Sommer.

The arrival of the Krampusse is also celebrated. The scent of mulled wine, punch and delicious dishes such as Goulash and Frankfurter will meet the main square. As part of the festive activities, the myth of the Krampusses also comes alive. "The Percht is on the road in the Raunächt and sells the winter, the Krampus comes on December 5 and punishes evil," explains Tünkler. This gives the evacuations a deeper cultural importance that many locals appreciate.
