deployment statistics and emergency care

The frequency and type of traffic accidents is an important topic in the field of emergency care. A nationwide analysis of the level of performance in the emergency services, which is carried out every four years, shows that from 2020 to 2021 around 1.8 percent of emergency operations affected traffic accidents, which corresponds to around 130,000 missions per year. Such statistics illustrate the need for quick and effective medical care.

In 2020/2021 there were approximately 16.1 million emergency trips, with around 8.1 million of these missions being classified as emergencies. The average aid period was 8.7 minutes, with 95 percent of the missions being achieved within 16.2 minutes. This data underline the importance of an efficient rescue service, especially in rural and urban areas.

While the exact details of both accidents are still being examined, security on the streets and the effectiveness of emergency care remains of central importance for the population in the region. The emergency services work tirelessly to provide quick and adequate help in order to save lives in critical situations.
