The Tauernklinikum in Zell am See has a new director of the school for health and nursing: DGKP Kathrin Wimmer was introduced to her new role in early October. The graduate nurse not only has extensive experience, but also a passion for the nursing profession, which is reflected in her many years of work at the nursing school.

Since her employment as a teacher, Wimmer has developed a close bond for the facility. With her broad specialist knowledge and empathetic way, she seems to be the right choice to continue and expand the institution. Silke Göltl, the managing director of the Tauern clinics, emphasizes the importance of a stable and competent leadership: "We are sure that she will guide the students: inside and teachers with high responsibility and creativity."

Before her new role, Kathrin Wimmer was the head of the “Seniorenhaus Margaretha” in Kaprun. She inspired her commitment to nursing to start her own “Training for Care and more” training program over six years ago. In doing so, it trains specialists in the nursing sector and passes on their knowledge. Your academic qualifications are also impressive; So she acquired the title "Master of Business Administration" at the "Body and Health Academy Linz", with a focus on health and social management. In addition, she is a trained pain manager and has completed the training for care in the operating sector.

DGKP Martina Grießer, the nursing director of the Tauernklinikum, also expresses itself positively about Wimmer: "I am pleased that she has decided as a long -term committed, professionally and socially competent colleague to take on this new task. For me, she is the right person to master future challenges."

Wimmer himself has optimistically commented on the perspectives of her new role. "I have been 'grew up' in the health sector and feel competent there. I also know the nursing school very well and I am familiar with the internal processes, the teaching staff and also with the pupils. Therefore I am very much looking forward to leading you all into a successful future," explains the new director.
