Kaprun remembers: hero memorial fair and new elections of camaraderie

in Kaprun there was a significant ceremony on Sunday, which commemorates both the fallen and the missing comrades of the two world wars. The hero memorial fair, celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Dr. Hans Jörg Hofer included the blessing of the war memorial. There were numerous members of the music band, the fire brigade and the Falkenbach shooters who accompanied this venerable occasion together.

After the solemn fair, they met at the Hotel Mitteregger for the annual general meeting of the Kaprun camaraderie. This meeting not only offered space for reviews, but also for an important change in leadership. The long -time chairman Peter Griesser handed over responsibility to his successor Sigi Maziborsky. Griesser's commitment to the camaraderie was honored in this meeting and rewarded with thanks and recognition.

New board and membership structure

During the session, decisive new elections were also carried out. Josef Kendlbacher and Peter Griesser were elected to the board as deputies of the chairman. Kai Goldbach takes over the cash management, while Matthias Punz acts as secretary. The ensigns Toni Hartl and Sepp Koller were also appointed to the new board, supported by the assessors Markus Sailer and Thomas Kleon. Brigitte and Martina, as marketers, will contribute to improving the financial means of the comradeship through the sale of schnapps. Hermann Breitfuss and Peter Gotthardt remain the invoice examiners for another three years.

The entire event was enriched by the support of various clubs and the presence of local personalities, which have thus underlined the importance of this tradition. Finally, the camaraderie Kaprun thanked all guests present, including the Hainzer family and parish office manager Norbert Ronacher, without whose commitment this event would not have been possible.
