A piece of home: Salzburg Advent enthusiastic with traditional sounds

In 2024, the city of Salzburg again became the stage for an Advent highlight. On December 12th, the original "Salzburg Advent" takes place in the driving (t) room, which, for more than three decades, is considered a firm tradition that warms many hearts. The door opens for the event at 7:00 p.m. and at 8:00 p.m. the musical experience begins, which lasts until 10:15 p.m.

What once started in the college church with around 400 visitors in 1991 has now become a significant cultural event with over 15,000 annual visitors. The Advent singing not only brought back the coziness of the Christmas season, but also created a deep feeling of home. With their voices and talents, over a hundred participants contribute to this unique experience.
