40 years of Hallein Kulturforum: anniversary with a big concert!
40 years ago, in 1985, the Hallein cultural forum was launched by visionary personalities such as entrepreneur Wolfgang Rainer, high school professor Herbert Struber and trade unionist Karl-Heinz Heidrich. This foundation turned out to be a cultural stroke of luck for the city, since the forum quickly developed into an important organizer of cultural highlights. The redesign of the cultural life in Hallein started: festivities, festivals and theater productions were launched, which attracted thousands of visitors and enriched the cultural scene. An outstanding event was the concert by Herbert Grönemeyer, which put the city into a state of emergency when around 20,000 people flocked to Hallein to experience the great musician live, like meinbezirk.at reported.
With the withdrawal of long -time chairman Friedl Bahner in 2015, the cultural forum was born in new ways. Under the direction of Gerhard Angerer, the association has concentrated on high-quality, but less mainstream-oriented cultural events. Looking at a moving year, the cultural forum starts its anniversary program on January 18 with a concert by the band "Faltenradio", which forms the start for numerous other festivities. The Kulturforum Hallein remains an essential component of cultural life in Salzburg and is known for its quality and diversity in the program selection, which is also due to close cooperation with various cultural institutions, as Sn.at
