Purkersdorf celebrates Austropop: Stipsits at the open-air concert 2025!
Purkersdorf is planning two spectacular open-air concerts for 2025 that celebrate Austrian Austropop. Organizer Niki Neunteufel announced that the cabaret artist and actor Thomas Stipsits will appear as the first main act on June 14, 2025. Stipsits described Purkersdorf as the “Vatican of Austropop” and was happy to be part of this event. The event follows the successful 20th anniversary of open-air concerts in the city, celebrated last year NOEN.at reported.
After Stipsits, another musical highlight is expected in August: a tribute to the famous Austrian musician Falco with the title “Falco coming home to Purkersdorf again”. These events are intended to further enrich cultural life in Purkersdorf and are awaited with great anticipation by the organizers and the community, as well as by NÖN.at reports.
