Trial against former surgeon: 299 children abused!

A sensational trial begins on February 24 in Vannes, France, against former surgeon Joël Le Scouarnec (73), who is accused of sexually abusing or raping a total of 299 children and young people over a period of 25 years. The crimes often took place while the children were under anesthesia, adding to the seriousness of his crimes. The former doctor was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2020 for repeated abuse, including of his nieces and a young patient. However, during searches of his home, investigators discovered over 300,000 images of child pornography as well as child-sized sex dolls.
