Österreich - On April 30, 2025, OE24.TV reported an impressive market share of 7.1 percent in the target group of 12 to 49-year-old on the past election Sunday, April 27. This not only represents the strongest quota day in the history of the station, but also increases the monthly market share for April 2023 to over 2.5 percent in the advertising-relevant target group. The increase compared to April of the previous year is remarkable 132 percent.
A total of 1.5 million Austrians OE24.tv, which corresponds to a cumulative range of 12+. On average, 314,000 viewers watched the content of the station every day. It is particularly noteworthy that OE24.TV was between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. and between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the election day the most watched television station in the country.
New record at the beginning of the year
Already at the beginning of 2025 OE24.TV was able to report a quota record: In the first nine days of this period, the market share in the target group of 12 to 49 year olds rose to 2.2 percent. A comparison to the values of the previous year shows an almost 200 percent increase. The highest market share in broadcasting history is also reflected in the overall target group, where 2.0 percent were achieved.
On January 9, 2025, the broadcaster recorded a market share of 2.8 percent in the advertising target group. The talc format "Fellner! Live" is also enjoying growing popularity, with the duels Gerald Grosz against Sebastian Bohrn Mena and Peter Westenthaler against Josef Cap viewers of almost 200,000 or 162,000. During this period, over 30 programs had more than 100,000 viewers.
