Stadl-Paura: New educational institutions and tourism ambitions
Stadl-Paura. The joy is great in the municipal office of Stadl-Paura, because a significant conversion is currently being worked on. Mayor Christian Popp is optimistic and revealed that the former municipal office, which last served as a after -school care center, will now offer space for two inclusion classes. In these classes, 20 children who need special support will find a new home. The opening of the facility is planned in the coming weeks. An existing inclusion class at the local elementary school is managed by an excellently qualified director, which ensures additional security.
The positive trend of educational offers does not seem to end. Popp reports that the middle school of the place with a focus on technology and science is well attended. "The children flock from all places," the mayor noticed proudly. In the coming year, no less than three classes per year will be expected in middle school, which means that the premises will soon be fully busy.
additional offers and developments
While the educational institutions are expanding, demand in kindergarten could also increase. Popp emphasizes that the kindergarten, which was extended in 2021, needs an additional group if the staff can be provided. "The room is available," he says, followed by a hopeful look into the future.
Another interesting aspect is the space in the new children's media center. There are still 300 square meters to rent here - an opportunity for future doctors, as Popp explains. He sees the possibility of adapting the facility to the needs of children's psychotherapists in particular in order to improve the care of youngest citizens.
The mayor also announces that كافة public buildings have been renovated in the municipality, which will reduce operating costs in the long term. In addition, the waterworks was modernized and the new SMARTechnik enables remote control.
A large investment project was the renovation of the channel strands. "We invested 1.2 million euros here this year," says Popp. A look into the future remains optimistic, because by autumn 2025 all districts should also have fast fiber optic internet.
tourism and local attractions
Another area where Stadl-Paura can shine is tourism. The horse center attracts around 190,000 visitors annually, which lead to around 30,000 overnight stays in the region. Popp has big plans to intensify the tourist loyalty: "We want to bring visitors to the horse center into the city and use it better," he explains.
With all the positive developments and new projects, Mayor Christian Popp is optimistic about the future of Stadl-Paura. The coming years promise many exciting changes that will benefit both the citizens and the visitors. Despite the many challenges, you look optimistically ahead. "When I go through the town, I am happy what we have created," concludes Popp, looking at his list of projects that still need to be implemented.
