In the municipality of Stadl-Paura there is news from the world of the volunteer fire department. The fire department is pleased to receive a new aerial rescue device that replaces the old vehicle that has provided loyal service for over 26 years. Mayor Christian Pop, who is also a member of the fire department, emphasizes the importance of this purchase for the entire region: “We also use it to supply other communities, schools and retirement homes.” This shows how closely connected the fire department is in the region and what important contribution it makes to the community.
Replacing the old vehicle will not be the only measure that will be implemented in the near future. Over the course of next February and March, an existing slipway in the storage area above the power plant will also be dismantled. The conversion is intended to solve this problem and ensure that boats can be put into the water more quickly.
