Festival concert for the anniversary: ​​Kohaiho inspires with a varied program

HAIDERSHOFEN. A very special festival will be celebrated in Haidershofen on Saturday, November 23rd. The Haidershofen Chamber Orchestra, better known as Kohaiho, is organizing its eagerly awaited anniversary concert. From 7:30 p.m., the audience at the middle school can experience an impressive evening packed with many musical highlights.

The concert will take place under the direction of the experienced Karlheinz Heimberger, while honorary conductor Ernst Kronsteiner will also be on stage. A captivating program awaits listeners, reflecting the orchestra's musical journey. Works by famous composers such as Puccini, Bellini and Zamfir are on the program, with soprano Regina Riel and pan flute player Marina Landerl shining as soloists.

Special musical contributions

A particularly spectacular highlight will be the commissioned work “Blubberblase – Wellness Oasis for Orchestra” by the young composer Tina Geroldinger. Her composition promises to take listeners into a relaxing world of sound. Furthermore, popular melodies by Johann Strauss, such as the Imperial Waltz and the Annenpolka, will not be missing. A remarkable excursion into the musical world of “Game of Thrones” will round off the program and will certainly stimulate the imagination of the listeners.

The evening will be moderated by the writer Till Mairhofer, who will lead through the program with his words. During the breaks and after the concert, guests have the opportunity to toast the orchestra's milestone anniversary. They can indulge in visual memories and enjoy regional specialties that make the evening special.
