Prevention of violence for children: Self -defense course in Hassel

On Saturday, November 16, 2024, there will be a remarkable workshop for violence prevention at the Rohrbach/Hassel vhs. From 10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., a program for children between the ages of 6 and 12, which deals with self -defense and self -assertion (No. 3,0356) is offered in the gym at the Eisenberg school in Hassel. This event comes at a time when violence against children and adolescents worldwide is the order of the day and often begins in early childhood.

In today's media landscape, children are increasingly confronted with violent content. Therefore, the need to prepare children for such challenges is becoming increasingly important. In order to help children act confidently, both theoretical and practical content are conveyed. By learning self -defense strategies, it is intended to ensure that the small participants do not feel like easy goals for potential attackers.

Information on registration and event

Registration for the workshop can be made online via the official VHS website at www.vhs-igb.de or using a registration form. If you have any questions, Christa Strobel can contact 06894/5908933 or Martin Wörner at 06894/13728. Alternatively, the email address vhs-hassel@st-ingbert.de is also available.

This commitment of the adult education center is an important step to strengthen children and give them resources to protect themselves. In today's world, when risk factors are omnipresent, it is crucial that parents and legal guardians are made aware of such programs. They contribute to the creation of a safe environment and to promote self -confidence.

The VHS-Niebenstelle Rohrbach/Hassel shows not only its commitment to education, but also for the security and well-being of the children in the region. In addition to practical training, the children will also learn to perceive how they can react to threatening situations. Future generations should be able to better manage both physical and emotional challenges.
