The Chor-i-Feen celebrated their 25th birthday with an impressive celebration in Aigen-Schlägl. Numerous fans came together in various places, including the Malcolm Poynter studio, the Abbey Brewery, the parish church of Aigen and the Meierhof Schlägl, to experience the anniversary event. The celebrations not only included beautiful musical performances, but also the idea of the new choir i fan meat and the first music video.

In various performances, the choir members offered solo chants, a small play and ensemble performances, including with the brewer song, which was sung by Reinhard Bayer, the abbey master. The highlight of the celebration was the concert in the parish church of Aigen, in which all 67 choir members performed together. The emotional spiritual songs touched the listeners, especially the haunting "giving us peace" by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, who addressed the desire for peace.

Best-of concert in the Meierhof

A special highlight of the celebration was the "Best of Chor-i-Feen" concert in the Meierhof Schlägl, which formed the crowning glory. Over 300 guests experienced a varied music program that included both humorous pieces and the "LagerhausRegae" and thoughtful songs such as "Heast as Net". Dramatic sounds of "Loch Lomond" and rousing rhythms such as "Dance Samba with me" created a lively mood. A premiere offered the first music video of the choir i-fairy to be presented during the concert.

Gerald Neubauer led through the program with cheerful and empathetic words and praised the tireless efforts of the choir director Maria Grünbacher. It was praised for her ability to lead the choir to remarkable success in 25 years. The faithful fans of the choir, who were rewarded with the new fan-Leiberl during the celebration, were particularly valued.
