SV Ried fights for reparation against SKN St. Pölten

The SV Ried had to accept a bitter defeat in the past round when they lost to Rapid Vienna II and thus had to take the first defeat of the current season. This defeat was not only an annoying setback, but also brought critical questions about the team's defense strategy. In the last two games against Amstetten and Rapid Vienna II, the defense of the Rieder, which was still considered very stable at the beginning of the season, experienced a weak phase and conceded a total of five goals. This means that the susceptibility on the defensive for one of the promotion favorites is simply too high.

coach Maximilian Senft and his team are now under pressure, especially before the upcoming game against the SKN St. Pölten. Wolfgang Fiala, Managing Director of SV Ried, commented: "We definitely have to defend better and more consistently tomorrow than in the last two games." The players are required to increase if the kick -off in the Innviertel Arena takes place at 10.30 a.m.

actions for families and clubs

To meet the fans and offer something new to the families, SV Ried supports the “Family on the Ball” campaign in cooperation with the Upper Austria family card. In the next game, families can use a particularly cheap ticket offer: an adult pays regular entry, while all other people who are entered on the Upper Austria family receive free admission. These family tickets are available at the daily cash registers of the Innviertel Arena.

In addition, football fans can look forward to a special day. On Friday, October 25th, at 6 p.m., the home game against Kapfenberg will take place, which is announced as the "Day of the Upper Austrian Football Associations". Up to 30 free tickets per club are also made available. The Initiative is intended to help strengthen the sense of community within the Upper Austrian football clubs. Interested clubs can contact the SV Ried office.
