Schildorn celebrates with a new stage: Premiere of Residenz Schloss & Riegel
Schildorn. The joy is great when the Schildorn theater group presents its first of a total of four performances of the new confusion comedy "Residence Schloss & Riegel" on October 25th. This idea will take place on a brand new stage that was created specifically for this occasion.
The decision to build your own stage did not come without challenges. About a year ago, the theater group was forced to choose between the dissolution of the association or the construction of its own stage, since the previous performances were no longer available. The choice fell on the second option, and thanks to an EU funding through the LEADER program, the project could also be financially held for the small club.
flexible use of the new stage
From spring to autumn, work was diligently worked on the new stage. A technology team of about six people was responsible for completion. This new aluminum tub was built in the Schildorn multi -purpose hall and is designed in such a way that it can also be used in other locations or outdoors. This also opens up the opportunity to use this stage.
The special construction of the stage ceiling enables the lighting and the scenes to be installed at an altitude of about 1.5 meters and then lifted. This optimizes the view for the audience and the performances receive their own, impressive atmosphere.
The Schildorn fire brigade will actively help during the construction work. A total of around 15 people are responsible for the stage and their list that take about four hours for the structure.
The Theaterverein Schildorn currently consists of a core team of around 15 committed members. For the performances this year, eight actors, supported by technicians, directors and souffleusen. The new stage thus represents a significant step for the theater group and offers many new opportunities for creative development.
