In the Hospital of the Merciful Sisters in Ried, there are new opportunities for nursing staff who have taken a break from the profession and now want to start again. This initiative offers valuable support in order to prepare for the return to care. The so-called care refresher takes place on three mornings and is aimed at all those who want to refresh their skills.

The training includes a comprehensive revival of medical and nursing knowledge. Experts of the Vinzentinum Ried, an educational institution for health and nursing, are ready to provide practical information. The aim is that the participants are familiarized with the latest knowledge and practices in care.

Content of further training

In the training courses, the participants receive a wide range of information. This includes understanding the various job profiles within care. Practical topics such as the supply of PEG and gastric probes, suctions, laying and supplying gastric probes and the handling of enterostoma are treated. Injection and infusion management is also not neglected, with the participants receiving valuable tips for daily practice.

In addition, nurses who then work in the Ried hospital are trained, especially in IT programs. This includes digital care documentation, which is essential in modern care. With the Refresher care, the participants can ensure that their knowledge is up to date and that they are well prepared to return to everyday work.
