Modelbaesse Ried: A festival for hobbyists and families on 19./20. October

In the picturesque Ried im Innkreis, the international model building fair will take place for the sixteenth time this year. This event has established itself as the most outstanding of its kind in Austria and Bavaria and attracts model building enthusiasts from near and far.

The fair extends over eight halls and the impressive FACC Sky Dome and offers around 183 exhibitors and clubs from six different countries a platform to present their latest products and models. The focus of this year's program includes areas such as plastic and cardboard model construction, RC model construction, model railways, LEGO and even a special Playmobil exhibition. So there is something for every age group, regardless of whether you are a model maker yourself or just want to stimulate your imagination.

Helmut Slezak, the trade fair director, is happy about the success of the event: “It is extremely gratifying that we succeed every year to bring the tried and tested and new things to Ried. The tens of thousands of visitors and the bright eyes of our guests are the biggest award for it.”

Similarly optimistic, project manager Fabian Berneder comments: "I am very happy that together with many regular customers and also new exhibitors, we can once again put on a great and varied trade fair for young and old." The anticipation is great, in particular to participate in numerous clubs and model builders who will present their artistic exhibits in Hall 17 and 18.

Another highlight are the workshops that are managed by prominent model builders from Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Austria. Gottfried Schachinger, chairman of the model building friends Ried im Innkreis, emphasizes the quality of these workshops: "We are also proud of our workshops, which are held this year by excellent model builders from Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Austria."
