16. International model building fair in Ried: journey of discovery for young and old

Ried. This year the international model building fair will take place for the 16th time. On October 19 and 20, more than 180 companies and clubs from a total of six countries will present their models and accessories in an impressive setting. The venues are spread over eight exhibition halls and the FACC Sky Dome.

The fair offers a wide range that includes the areas of plastic and cardboard model construction, RC model construction, model railways and a LEGO and Playmobil exhibition. This means that there is a lot to be discovered for both children and adults.

Diversity of topics and highlights

A special focus is on the plastic and cardboard model construction, where the Rieder model building fair is considered the largest exhibition in the roof region. Message director Helmut Slezak is enthusiastic about the continuous growth of the event: "It is extremely gratifying that we succeed every year to bring the tried and tested.

The 30th anniversary of the model building loan Ried im Innkreis is emphasized. Chairman Gottfried Schachinger announced that numerous clubs will present their artistic exhibits in halls 17 and 18. The RC model building area is also a large highlight of the fair. Here visitors can marvel at the impressive demonstrations of the IG Rad and Chain in the harbor basin in Hall 16, including fire extinguishing performances. In addition, racing demonstrations of various clubs and flight demonstrations take place in the FACC Sky Dome.

Another reason to joy is the 65th birthday of the minis, the famous small car. In Hall 12, the Mini Stammtisch H-i-V will present an impressive collection of around 30 mini models from Lego. This diversity will certainly cause enthusiasm among visitors.

In addition, Playmobil celebrates its 50th anniversary. Hall 16 offers large figures, showcases and a play table with puzzles and games. Daily activities such as the Playmobil gorge of gap and an estimation game guarantee entertainment for all age groups.

The model building in Ried is not only a platform for model building enthusiasts, but also a place of encounters and the exchange for like -minded people from different countries. The number of exhibitors and the diversity of the offers promise an unforgettable experience for all visitors.
