The district of Perg has unfortunately recorded numerous deaths in the past few weeks. The deceased come from different communities and were in different phases of life. Here are some of the names that are honored by the relatives.
In September, Bad Kreuzen experienced the loss of Leopoldine Moser, who turned 78, and Michael Luftensteiner, who reached the proud age of 89. In Baumgartenberg, the people said goodbye to Sr. Maria Theodora, who has reached the remarkable lifespan of 100 years, and Sr. Maria Gratia, who died in the 75th year.

The losses are not only limited to Baumgartenberg and Bad Kreuzen. Karl Kloibmüller died in Dimbach in the 70th and Agnes Riegler in the 88th year of life. There was also sad news in Grein; Othmar Hennerbichler died in the 94th year of life, followed by Ernestine Koller, who was 93 years old.
Angela Luckeneder, who turned 79, and Anna Luftensteiner, born Raab, who 91 years old, were mourned in the municipality of Mitterkirchen. Perg as a central community reported the loss of several valued personalities, including Anton Nenning (92 years), Zäzilia Haslhofer (92 years) and Maximilian Derndorfer, a passionate piano player and teacher who was 86 years old.The other deceased in September includes Markus Freinschlag in Windhaag, who left us far too early at the age of 58, as well as in St. Georgen an der Gusen Johanna Kreuzer (86 years) and Josef Kram (84 years).

October brought sad news. Theresia Riegler from Baumgartenberg completed her life at the age of 86. Rosina Aschauer died in Münzbach, who last lived in Schwertberg and was 90 years old. Manfred Pinecker from St. Georgen an der Gusen died in the 69th year of life.
These deaths are an irrevocable part of the community and remind us of the fragility of life. The names of the deceased and the stories of their lives will continue to live in the hearts of their relatives. These honors also offer the opportunity to maintain the memories and to pay the respect for the deceased.
