In Gmunden, a young team from Lauffreunde Traunsee Panthers recently celebrated a promising premiere at the Austrian championship in the terrain. Nine months after the foundation of the association, the athletes were able to convince on a challenging course in Tulln and join the best young runners in the country.

The siblings Anna and Lea Söser, both talented young athletes from Gmunden, have achieved remarkable results in their age groups. Anna reached fifth place in the U14 category, while Lea took ninth place at U16. These services not only demonstrated their skills, but also brought in the first cup points for the association. The Lauffreunde Traunsee Panthers now seem to be in the Austrian athletics cup classification for the first time and strive to further consolidate their place in the competition.
