FPÖ-B District Party Day: David Schiessl again in office and infrastructure progress

district/Weng. The FPÖ district party conference took place at the Lengauer inn in Weng, where 181 delegates came together to discuss the political developments of the past year. The event was accompanied musically by the Weng traditional music band. Among the guests were also deputy governor Manfred Haimbuchner and Weng's mayor Gerhard Wiesner.

A central event of the evening was the re -election of David Schiessl as district party chairman. Schiessl, who has been head of the FPÖ in the Braunau district for 20 years, received 93.37 percent of the votes of the delegates. This illustrates the support of the party and the strong position of the FPÖ in the region. Hermann Brückl, Member of the National Council, also emphasized that the population has the desire for change, which is also evident in the election results achieved. The FPÖ was able to achieve 35 percent in the EU election in the Braunau district and 38 percent in the National Council election-the highest value in Upper Austria.

infrastructure as a key topic

Another central theme of the evening was the investment in infrastructure projects in the district. These were particularly honored by the delegates and those present. Thanks to committed work, 87 million euros have already been invested in various infrastructure measures in the district. The outstanding projects include the electrification of the Mattigtalbahn, the bypass of Mattighofen and the planning of an ampell solution in Weng. Even if State Councilor Günther Steinkellner was prevented that day, his commitment to these projects was recognized.

With the continuous investments in the infrastructure, the region is to be further strengthened, and the good results of the last elections show that the work of the FPÖ has fallen on fertile soil in recent years.

affordable living in the focus

Another important concern of the FPÖ is the creation and maintenance of affordable living space, especially in Upper Austria. The party emphasizes that the living situation in federal state comparison is considered the cheapest. This topic will continue to be a central part of the political objectives of the FPÖ in the future in order to guarantee the citizens a lively and sustainable living situation.

The meeting not only underlined the success of the FPÖ in the region, but also the further planning for the future. Further information about the political orientation and the current projects can be found .
