Braunau celebrates artists: Linzerstrasse becomes an impressive gallery!

Linzerstraße 14, 5280 Braunau, Österreich - In Braunau, Linzerstrasse becomes a living gallery! Until December 24, 2024, the works of the talented artist Karl Mengassner are exhibited in eleven different shops along the popular shopping street. The artist, born in Braunau in 1946, looks back on a long career that began with a passion for animal world and nature. He has been dependent on a care facility for several years, and the exhibition is used to support him and his daughter Tanja financially. The kick -off for the exhibition took place on November 27, 2024 in the beer song by initiator Helmut Bogner, who mobilized the owners of the shops for this special project.

The exhibition organized by the History Museum Biersiederhaus includes in addition to well-known local shops such as Schuy Schuy and Rödhammer butcher's shop, such as the Bierbar Schluckerl and the Ambiance Hotel Braunau. "I mobilized the people of Linzerstrasse and everyone took part immediately," says Bogner and highlights the great support of the dealers.
