Wiener Neustadt, Österreich - The city of Wiener Neustadt has reinvented itself digitally! With the introduction of a special online form, the administration successfully processed over 2,000 citizens' concerns in 2024, a significant increase compared to previous years. Mayor Klaus Schneeberger praised this new system and emphasized the importance of every individual concern: "The concerns of our citizens, whether large or small, are important to us." Since the introduction of citizens' request management in September 2022, the city has recorded a clear increase in edited concerns. In 2023, 1,234 applications were already done positively. The average processing time has been shortened dramatically, from previously 12 days to just 5 days for test users in the new digital system.
