Innovative cooperation: HTL Karlstein and test fox in the hydrogen area
From 2026, the HTL Karlstein will introduce the new focus "Innovative Energy Systems", which offers students an exciting option in the field of mechatronics. As part of this innovation, laboratory exercises on the subject of hydrogen and cryogenic are planned, which are carried out in cooperation with the company Test-Fuchs, an important aerospace group from Groß-Siegharts.
The collaboration should enable the students to gain practical experience that cannot be provided at the school itself. This initiative could be seen as a decisive step in training, because working with innovative technologies represents a relevant aspect of future energy supply.
Details for cooperation
The official signature of the cooperation agreement between HTL Karlstein and Test-Fuchs has already been made. Workshop manager Ansbert Sturm, HTL director Gerold Kornell and workshop manager Mario Gerstorfer were present during the signing and were positive about the new perspectives that result from this partnership.
By combining theoretical lessons and practical laboratory exercises, the students are given the opportunity to use their knowledge in a real environment. The focus on hydrogen and cryogenic also refers to the growing importance of sustainable energy systems in modern technology.
This initiative is not only important for the students themselves, but could also strengthen the location of the HTL Karlstein. It is viewed as a pioneer for modern technologies in the field of education and could help position the school on the educational market.
