Festive atmosphere at the Waidhofen Oktoberfest – a complete success!
Last Saturday a happy Oktoberfest took place in the sports hall in Waidhofen, which was organized by the ÖVP district party in collaboration with the community parties. A large number of guests celebrated until the early hours of the morning. The event was a hit, with the rural youth from Karlstein particularly standing out as the largest group and being honored with a barrel of beer.
The musical entertainment was initially provided by the “W4s” group, who immediately put everyone in a good mood with their lively sounds. Later, the band “Heckenklescha” got on stage and added lively melodies to the celebrations. For the partygoers who stayed longer on the dance floor, DJ Fabix played and ensured that the dance floors remained full.
A celebration full of highlights
Another highlight of the evening was the raffle, which was very well received by visitors and offered attractive prizes. District party chairman Eduard Köck was extremely satisfied with the event and said: "I am very pleased that the festival was so well received. We will certainly consider including the Oktoberfest in our event calendar again next year."
Among the guests of honor were various political personalities, including State Councilor Ludwig Schleritzko and National Councilor Martina Diesner-Wais, who attended the event and were able to enjoy the exuberant atmosphere. The joy at the success of the festival was clearly noticeable, and everyone involved was happy about the positive response.
Overall, the Oktoberfest in the Waidhofen sports hall provided an excellent opportunity for the community to gather, celebrate and come together. This type of event not only strengthens togetherness, but also offers a nice change from the often hectic everyday life. A significant event that impressively continues the tradition of community celebrations in the region, as well reported on www.noen.at.
