Advent sounds: Choir invites you to a festive concert in Weikertschlag

On Sunday, December 8th, a very special event will take place in the Weikertschlag parish church: The GMV Raabs/Thaya mixed choir invites you to a festive Advent concert. The event starts at 4 p.m. and promises to provide a wonderful atmosphere to get you in the mood for the Christmas season.

Visitors can look forward to a selection of well-known Christmas carols that will create a contemplative atmosphere. Among other things, the program includes the popular Christmas pastoral and the songs “Mary’s Boychild” and “Angels Have Heaven’s Songs”. The brass group of the Rossinger musicians will also contribute to the musical accompaniment and enrich the experience.

Entrance fees are requested in the form of free donations, which enables everyone to take part in this contemplative concert, regardless of financial ability. The Advent concert is not only a musical highlight, but also an opportunity for the community to come together and share the anticipation of Christmas.
