Originally, the meeting was to take place in Tulln as part of the fire brigade fair Kat24, which was canceled due to the flood disaster. But instead of hanging up the wings, the hosts created a varied program that included both cultural and community activities.

At the opening of the weekend, the Ukrainian weir with its German comrades visited the weekly market at the cathedral square in St. Pölten, where regional products and the lively atmosphere of the city were enjoyed. In addition, a city tour was on the plan, which brought the sights of the free firefighters closer to the sights and the charm of the state capital. Another highlight was the visit to the St. Pölten-Stadt fire brigade, where senior fire councilor Max Ovecka presented the alarm center and the impressive fleet.

Sunday was characterized by a hike to the Wachtberg, which served to exchange and strengthen the camaraderie. Afterwards there was a sociable get-together in the Großrust-Merking fire station, which formed the perfect end of the weekend together. This was particularly welcomed by the commanders Bernhard Wendl and Herbert Kaiser, who were happy about the success of the replacement program and the care of the friendly bonds.

With this meeting, not only the fire brigade community was strengthened, but also a platform for intercultural exchange within the partner fire brigades.
