Rocky premiere in Neunkirchen: School of Rock inspires families!

Neunkirchen, Deutschland - Neunkirchen becomes the setting for an exciting family musical! The Kutscherhaus association brings the rousing piece "School of Rock" by Andrew Lloyd Webber to the stage. After months of rehearsals, the preparations are completed and the premiere is imminent! On December 6th, the new blower hall will become the center of Rock ’n’ roll when the young talents raise their voices and captivate the audience.

Project manager Edda Petri emphasizes the importance of the project: "The children and young people have received free lessons in various musical subjects for months. Entry to our ideas is therefore free of charge and free of charge." Thanks to generous sponsors, this rocking theater afternoon becomes an unforgettable experience for families. The story revolves around a failed rock star who works undercover as a temporary teacher at an elite school. There he transforms a group of well -behaved students into a wild rock band who wants to take part in the famous “Battle of the Bands” competition. But for that they have to outsmart their parents and the strict director!

an ensemble full of talents

All main roles are played by talented children who come from various schools in Neunkirchen and the surrounding area, including Ukrainian and Syrian children who are perfectly integrated. The "Kutscher-Kids" bring the show to the stage with two live rock bands. The artistic direction is in the hands of Edda Petri (director), Francesco Cottone (musical direction), Sibille Sandmayer (theater pedagogy), Janine Brennecke (choreography) and Jochen Maas (stage design). The well -known soprano Elizabeth Wiles was won over for the role of strict school principal Rosalie Mullins.

The performances take place on the following dates: Friday, December 6th, at 6 p.m. Saturday, December 7th, at 3pm; Sunday, December 8th, at 2.30 p.m. A special presentation on December 9th is reserved for schools and facilities.
