In the night of October 11, 2024 at around 2:30 a.m., a serious truck accident occurred on the A6 in the direction of Saarbrücken, near Wattenheim. A 67-year-old driver from Neunkirchen lost control of his 40-ton truck, which caused the vehicle to get off the road, slipped over an embankment and finally landed on a field.
