Fire drama in Neunkirchen: Pizzeria Romantica in flames!

A dramatic kitchen fire in the “Pizzeria Romantica” in Neunkirchen/Nahe caused chaos on Monday, November 18th, 2024 at around 2 p.m.! Flames and smoke spread quickly through the popular restaurant on Nahestrasse and led to a massive deployment of fire and rescue services. The situation became dire when it emerged that six people, including a small child, were in danger in an adjacent apartment building.

Fortunately, all residents were able to escape outside in time. But the danger was not yet averted! The emergency services immediately concentrated on rescue and firefighting. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus rushed into the pizzeria to put out the fire. Five people were taken to nearby hospitals with suspected smoke inhalation, while the smoke and toxic fumes spread through the apartments and the pizzeria, making the entire building uninhabitable. The “Pizzeria Romantica” remains closed for the time being and the damage to property has not yet been quantified.
