A significant initiative to modernize street lighting in Saarland is imminent. The state government plans to support municipalities in converting to energy-efficient lighting technology, which could result in significant energy savings. Applications are already possible now

This means that cities and municipalities do not have to wait for final approval and can start planning and implementation immediately.
