New construction of the adjoining facilities and lane renewal in Ollern: Increasing traffic safety completed
traffic safety in Ollern was significantly improved with the completion of a new construction project. The adjoining facilities along the state road L 2135 were renewed as well as the road. The work carried out from the intersection with Riederbergstrasse to the intersection with the state road L 2139 Tullner Straße extended over a length of about 350 meters.
The construction project lasted a total of five months and cost around 872,000 euros. The state of Lower Austria took part in the costs with around 100,000 euros, while the rest of the Sieghartskirchen market town was taken over.
The measures included the complete removal of the old road surface, repairs in depth and applying a new layer of topping. In addition, a new sidewalk, green areas and parking spaces were created. The rainwater canal was renewed and the lighting for the adjoining systems was installed. Thanks to these improvements, the place now appears in a harmonious and natural light.
The completion of the construction project helps to significantly increase traffic safety in Ollern.
