Courageous rescue operation: Fire brigade frees little Raphael from car
On Friday, October 4, 2024, the Mödling volunteer fire brigade was called to a curious but harmless use at 1:30 p.m. via alarm center. The alarm took place for a human rescue, whereby a small child was in a closed car.
Fortunately, the fire brigade crew was already present in the fire station and was able to quickly break up through the densely drive -in roads to the site in the Vorderbrühl. In the vehicle, the little Raphael was sitting in his child seat, who watched carefully how the emergency services tried to free him. Interested he pursued the action and seemed to be happy about the large number of helpers. After about ten minutes, the firefighters managed to open the car door without damage. The mother was finally able to hug her little son and the relief was clearly felt.
In order to loosen up the situation for Raphael and offer him a small consolation, he was given a "trauma -bear" - a small soft toy with a fire brigade logo. The joy in the eyes of the little boy was unmistakable and laughing together with the emergency services caused a positive mood.
After about 30 minutes, the Mödling fire brigade was able to leave the site and return to the guard. Such events show how important fast reactions are in critical situations and also that you can sometimes get great joy among the little ones with little effort.
