Warm thank -you action in the LK Allentsteig: Patients honor nursing staff

The gratitude of the patients for the outstanding medical care in the State Clinic Allentsteig is particularly emphasized in a recently launched campaign. The initiative "We say thank you" was launched by the NÖN in cooperation with the Lower Austrian State Health Agency. This campaign aims to honor the employees of the Lower Austrian clinics who do excellent care every day.

On September 4, Theresia Stieger traveled with her husband Hubert Stieger extra from Melk to Allensteig to thank the hospital staff personally. After more than four years, she wanted to express her appreciation for the medical and therapeutic support she had received. "It was important to us to show people how much we appreciate their work," she said.

recognition for the nursing staff

In this campaign,

particularly emphasizes the important role of the nursing staff who often act behind the scenes in order to create the best conditions for the patients. The initiative gives patients the opportunity to show their gratitude not only in writing, but also through personal visits. "We want everyone to know how important this support was for us," added Hubert Stieger.

The response to the action was consistently positive. Many patients encourage their fellow human beings to also say thank you and put the nurses in the spotlight. Such gestures strengthen the cohesion and show that human care in health care is immeasurably valuable. Other stories of patients who thank you in this way will be published in the NÖN in the coming weeks. The goal is to raise awareness of the challenges and triumphs in the healthcare system and at the same time offer a platform for thanks.

For many, the clinic is not only a place of recovery, but also a space in which people experience hope and humanity. The "We say thank you" initiative helps to put this aspect in the foreground. "We are just glad that we can do that," concludes Theresia Stieger, while leaving the facilities of the State Clinic Allentsteig.

The Lower Austria hospitals prove to be important contact points for medical help and strive to ensure the best possible care. The gratitude, which is now visible in these facilities, could be inspiring for other clinics to create similar worthings and thus to illuminate the bright spots in the often challenging healthcare system. More information about the stories and the background of this initiative are available in the upcoming editions of the NÖN and online, which will support regular reporting in order to inform people about such important topics.
