On September 28, 2024, the time had finally come: After a long tournament break of almost two decades, SU RRC Kreuzenstein Vienna presented a rock’n’roll tournament in Korneuburg. This significant event was organized by Martin Rauhofer, who ensured that everything went smoothly. Gritli Ramschag-Wollein, an experienced tournament presenter, took over the moderation with her husband Dr. Carlos Wollein, an honorary president, accompanied. Her presence brought back a touch of nostalgia because she played an important role in the history of RRC Kreuzenstein.

The event began with an impressive club show in which the first men's mini formation of the RRC Kreuzenstein demonstrated its skills. The audience was enthusiastic about the dance performances and the demanding acrobatical elements that were brought to the floor.

in the highest performance class, the Main Class Free Style, a new couple stepped on stage: Sabrina Ecker - Joachim Ecker. After a two -year break, they decided to celebrate their comeback, but could not be dangerous to the experienced dancers Alexandra Sagaydak and Artem Esenkov, who presented their impressive acrobatic program. The duo repeated its victory from previously in June.

In the Main Class Contact Style there was also a remarkable comeback. Marlene Doiber and Christian Doiber presented their choreography and thus set a strong sign, even if they couldn't quite hand the experienced dancers. Elisabeth Thim and Martin Rauhofer, on the other hand, secured first place with a solid performance.

In the area of the Couple Dance Show National, Michelle Ober and Leon Allmer from the RRBC Formation 88 had their third victory in a row. Her sovereign performance consolidated her place at the top. The club colleagues Veronika Doblhoff-Löffler and Lorenz Winkler also showed an excellent performance and took second place.

In the juniors, Valentina Nagl and Valentin Häusler from RRC New Rock Generation made their fifth victory in a row and remained undefeated nationally. The two demonstrated an impressive performance that put their competition in the shadow.

At the Juveniles, Emma Hiebler and Arthur Berger also celebrated their first place and showed a strong performance that she brought in front of her club colleagues Lina and Fabio Rosenberger. Jennifer Almer and Matthias Wiederhofer also achieved a success in the children's category, who were able to record their fourth and third victory in a row this year.

The beginners Mona Kummerer and Jonas Prenner from the B&RRC Hot Rock Dancers-Parndorf also danced onto the top podium with an outstanding performance.

In the MAD Maniacs from the RRC New Rock Generation, the Mad Maniacs continued their winning streak and surprised with an impressive increase in performance. All eyes were also aimed at the women of Infinity and Girls Like That, who renewed their choreographies and surprised the audience with fresh music and costumes.

The results of the Miniformations Girls were similar to the last tournament, with the Rocking Flames from RRBC Formation 88 won first place. They impressed with a harmonious and excellent performance and left little doubt that they were among the best dancers in their category.

The entire event was a great success and set a strong sign for the return of rock’n’roll dance sports to the region. With this opening of the 2024 tournament season, the RRC Kreuzenstein has a promising start, and the hope of further tournaments in the future is high, which is alike.
