traffic controls in Korneuburg
While the city is busy with the tragic accident, there is further news from Korneuburg: detours and locks in various places significantly disrupt the traffic. If you want to drive from the city to the Danube Ere, you have to be patient until the beginning of September. As part of the renovation of the large roundabout at the Ring and Donaustraße intersection, there are comprehensive work that partially blocks and bringing diversions. From 19 July to September 3, Dr. Max Burckhard Ring led towards the train station as a one-way street, while Donaustraße is closed for 15 meters, reports meinbezirk.at .
From July 26, the area of the underpass will even be completely blocked. These measures lead to expected delays in traffic and can lead to considerable traffic jams, while residents and commuters rely on diversions. However, the underpass remains accessible to pedestrians, but cyclists can also pass, but they have to push their bike. The city administration plans to complete the work by September 4 at the latest to minimize the inconvenience for the population.
