Fighter Tanja Klauser: From dream to victory in Monoski sports!

In Lower Austria, 20-year-old Tanja Klauser from Purgstall is fighting with remarkable determination against the restrictions on her cerebral palsy, which has made life difficult for her. From childhood she dreamed of learning skiing, but classic ski activities failed due to her physical complaints. Nevertheless, she did not give up: a ski course for people with impairments gave her the opportunity to climb a Monoski for the first time in 2012. But the path was rocky, characterized by a lot of willpower and numerous challenges. Over the years she turned her dream into reality, took part in race events and experienced ups and downs in competition. As a remarkable highlight, Klauser won the title of the Austrian state champion and in 2023 she was able to secure the Austrian Cup overall ranking, as on Today.at

In order to continue to support her in her competitive sport, she not only received financial backing from her home town, but also a Berger experience pass for ten ski areas in Lower Austria, which enables her to train regularly. Sports Councilor Udo Landbauer praised her discipline and dedication: "The passion of Tanja Klauser is exemplary," he said. Season ticket sponsorship is a great relief for Klauser, since the costs for your sports equipment and the necessary repairs of your monoskis are one of the high editions of racing. She describes the support of the Lower Austrian Versevertensportverband, which paved her way to racing. So she was intensively involved and continuously improves her skills, as well as on VISIONRUN.AT can be read.
