On Saturday morning, October 25, 2025, this year's Ursula Market in Klagenfurt was ceremoniously opened. The oldest grocer's market in Carinthia has a long tradition that stretches back more than 720 years and is an integral part of cultural life in the city. The opening began with an impressive parade, which was accompanied by the Klagenfurt city band, the Lindwurm folk dance group and the Klagenfurt flag wavers.
The market is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Klagenfurt exhibition center until October 27, 2025. Around 250 stallholders present a variety of goods, ranging from traditional smock aprons and wool socks to wooden toys and enamel cups. Many of the rarities on offer are a highlight for visitors and invite you to stroll through the market's alleys and browse.
