Fraudsters sell iPhones - buyers remain on empty promises!

Horn, Österreich - A threatening fraud shocked the region: A 33-year-old man from the Gmünd district cheated on numerous buyers by offering iPhones at temptingly cheap prices. Buyers paid between 250 and 750 euros for the mobile phones, which were never delivered. The disappointed customers were put off with excuses and neither the items of purchase nor the seller appeared to the agreed transfer dates in Horn and Krems. Despite repeated requests for delivery, the sender failed to do so, which ultimately led to the complaint against him. This reports meinbezirk.at .

After a police step examination, the fraudster was located with the help of a call data recording and charged with the Kremser Regional Court. With a background of four criminal records, which also indicate fraud, the accused was confessed and stated that he had committed the deeds out of a gambling addiction. It is currently in therapy. Before this incident, a prison sentence of 18 months, of which seven months, had been imposed, which was now added to two months, which illustrates the severity of his crimes. This information was from Austria provided.

parallel to these fraud cases, the current fuel price development in Lower Austria attracts attention. According to current statistics, there are a total of 601 petrol stations in the region. The prices for diesel and petrol have recently increased significantly, which is due to the geopolitical tensions. While the average diesel price is 1.647 euros and the gasoline price is 1.598 euros, the petrol stations have up to 20 euros differences in the liter price. Buyers should therefore inform themselves about the cheapest petrol stations at any time and refuel at the right time to save.
