Adrenaline and skill: Successful final of the Waldviertel Motocross Cup

In the picturesque Schrems, everything was about motocross and exciting competitions when the seventh race day of the Waldviertel Motocross Cup went into the final round. Over 200 drivers gathered in the granite city to take part in this spectacular event on October 6, 2024, which was organized by HSV Schandachen.

A truly rousing racing experience not only offered itself to the participants, but also the numerous spectators who were enthusiastic about the atmosphere and the skills of the drivers. Johannes Fürnsinn, chairman of the HSV Schandachen, described the anticipation: "We are very pleased that we were able to organize a successful race day and thank all drivers, the audience, and of course with all of our volunteers, our sponsors and at the MSC Schrems for the very good cooperation."

The performance of the young drivers who witnessed their skills in front of an audience was particularly remarkable. Benedikt Macho, a talented RS-Schalko-Rokie, praised the route: "The route was optimal for me, the floor was a bit lower at the beginning, I like that and it then went perfectly for me in both runs." He won both 65cc runs and secured the daily victory in this category with impressive 100 points. The competition was also strong in the 50cc class, with Luca Hans Kain from Bad Ischl being able to assert himself as a day winner. The rapid Elias Leitner from the MX Devils also won the double victory in the 85ccm class with 100 points.

The Enduro class won Timon Brichard, who also won the MX Open class. In the prestigious champions class, Alexander Gabriel from Steinprofis was able to conquer first place. There were no doubts about the women, Leoni prayer from MSC Greinsfurth showed an impressive performance and won both races. In addition, Lorenz Riegler celebrated an important victory in the taster class.

Klaus Trinkl, the head of the W4 Cup OK, looked back on the entire season and emphasized: "We had a top season and we want to organize the Waldviertel Motocross Cup again next year." The day of the season was not only a highlight, but also a solemn event that made the entire team and the volunteers proud. On November 9, 2024, the annual award ceremony of the cup will take place, organized by the ECC Schönau.
